Its Release Day!

Raven Corvus has always felt like she was on the outside looking in. Being adopted into a family of shifters without the ability to shift has put her life on hold. Never wanting to take part in the Moon Ceremony or choosing a mate, she tends to distance herself from her people. When an accident lets loose a side of her that had been hidden for her protection, she is forced to come to terms with whom and what she really is.

Griffin Snow serves as a protector for the Goddess in the fight against Dexius, the Dark God. When an old enemy returns to threaten one of his charges, he jumps into action to protect Raven—only to discover that she is not just his charge, but his fated mate. Hiding out in the safety of Griffin’s cabin only adds to the need growing inside of them.

Can Raven and Griffin save their people from the big, bad ugly gunning for them or will they lose their chance at happiness?

Self doubt and the review that made it all better!

Have you ever had one of those days where you totally doubt yourself? Well that was me today. I was finishing up edits on my next release Ravens Legacy and I started thinking what am I doing? Sitting at home alone I began to doubt my ability to write a believable story that readers would enjoy. I began doubting my choice in careers and whether it was all worth it. Then a small message from my friend and fellow Sunshine Press writer popped up “Great Review for Unwanted Proposal”. Of course I was scared to read it after the day that I have had but it was just what I needed! The reviewer wrote “J. N. has done a wonderful job in drawing forth the emotions between Caleb and Riley to the point that the reader wants to know more. The fire boiling between them in palpable. So much so, that by the time you get to the end of the story, you honestly want to keep on reading to know more about the character’s themselves. This is a great addition to the Clearwater series, and I look forward to seeing what comes next.”

Now I can’t keep my fingers off of the keyboard and my feet from doing an under the desk happy dance! Ravens Legacy is shaping up to be my favorite book with a very eclectic cast of characters! I can not wait to see what my readers think of it!

Now available in print and e-book, two great stories in one book!

Here we go ladies and gents, if you haven’t read either A Bitter Reunion & Unwanted Proposal by J.N Johnson now is your chance. Both stories have been combined into one book for your reading pleasure and give a new look!

A Bitter Reunion:

Lilly Myers ran from Clearwater ten years ago to start a new life as a nurse, leaving all of the pain and anguish of her broken heart behind. The last thing she ever wanted was to return home and face the grueling questions about her sudden disappearance. But the invitation to her ten-year class reunion and the growing need to see her family has her reluctantly boarding the first plane back.

Unfortunately, in the small town of Clearwater, nothing stays buried for long. Lilly quickly finds herself facing the past she’s longed to leave behind and the man she’s tried hard to forget.

Joshua Taylor has spent the last ten years managing his outfitters business, but it was never enough to keep his mind off the girl who got away. He’s always hoped the love of his life would return home and forgive him for the night she found him in another woman’s embrace.

Mending fences along the way Joshua is prepared to do anything he can to prove his worth to Lilly. Now a hurt and angry Lilly is within arm’s reach, and Joshua is prepared to fight for her, even if it means facing danger head on.

Can love blossom from such a bitter reunion?

Unwanted Proposal:

Caleb Myers watched as his sister and brother-in-law, Joshua, drove away from Clearwater for a much needed vacation, leaving him to housesit, and take care of the family business. The idea of a long weekend of peace and quiet at their country cabin turned out to be a short-lived dream when a phone call from his employee at Winter Lilly’s Outfitters brings news of an unwanted visitor.

Riley Campbell wants nothing more out of life than to impress the pig-headed bosses who like to use her as client eye candy at her Houston law firm, and put her career on the fast track for partner. Nothing made her happier than legal battles and paper pushing, but when she is sent miles from her normal city life, and thrown into the country setting of Clearwater, Wyoming, she fears she may have met her match.

With an offer in hand to buy Winter Lilly’s Outfitters, Riley tries to convince Caleb to take the deal, but his good ole boy ways, country charms, and fierce loyalty leaves her wanting more than just his name on the dotted line.

Finally! Unwanted Proposal, A Clearwater Novella.

Whew it only took a year, but here it is my follow up novella to A Bitter Reunion and my second addition to the Clearwater Series. Unwanted Proposal isn’t your typical Romeo and Juliet story. Caleb is the laid back mountain man, that I just fell in love with while writing him, and Riley is a strong willed city girl. Both of them think they know what they want out of life but with one Unwanted Proposal their entire lives get turned upside down. I loved this story and to date it is my favorite that I have written! I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of my redneck hottie and his texas siren!
